Abstract
Excessive utilization of harmful pesticides and insecticides causes damage to crops and their yield. Plant-based Insecticides also known as bio-pesticides, can be a better alternative to manage undesirable insects. Spodoptera litura. also known as tobacco caterpillar is one of the most polyphagous insects causing damage to many plant species. 15 plant extracts were tested which promise to show anti-insecticidal properties against insects.
